Why warranty matters in an auto service
Most service shops in Moldova either don't offer a warranty at all, or limit themselves to a "3-day drive-out warranty". That means if a knock comes back a week later — that's already your problem. At AutoPro we build our business on returning customers, so we provide a real warranty: in writing, in the work order, with concrete terms.
What the warranty covers
Labor
Warranty on the quality of work performed by our mechanics — regardless of whose parts were installed.
- Suspension — 6 months / 15,000 km
- Consumables replacement (oil, filters) — 6 months
- Engine repair — 12 months / 20,000 km
- Transmission repair — 12 months / 20,000 km
- Electrical and diagnostics — 6 months
- Body repair — 12 months on welding and paint
Parts
Parts installed at our service have double protection: manufacturer's warranty + ours.
- OEM parts — 12 months
- Brands (Bosch, Sachs, Brembo) — 12 months
- Quality aftermarket (Febi, TRW) — 6 months
- Consumables (oils, filters, belts) — per manufacturer's term
How a warranty case works
- Call or message us — describe the symptom and send the work order.
- We accept without queue. Warranty cases — priority, we put them in work the same day.
- Free diagnostics. If it's our fault — we fix it at our expense.
- Loaner car — if the repair takes more than 2 days (for regular customers).
- If a part was defective — we exchange it under the manufacturer's warranty, reinstallation — free.
When the warranty does NOT apply
To be fair — we openly state when warranty doesn't work:
- If you brought your own part (warranty on labor exists, on the part itself — no)
- If after our repair you went to another shop and they touched the same area
- If the car was used improperly (e.g., drift, racing)
- If there was mechanical damage after repair (accidents, impacts)
- If service intervals weren't kept (oil not changed on time, etc.)
What we do for reliability
- Test drive after repair. For complex jobs — mandatory test drive with the diagnostician.
- Double-check. Complex jobs (engine, transmission) are checked by a second mechanic before delivery.
- Video report. For major repairs we film the process — you see exactly what was done.
- Operating recommendations. After repair you receive instructions — what to do and not to do for the first 1,000 km.
